There must be something in the water in Abu Dhabi judging by the number of newborn requests I get. And let me tell you something.... I LOVE them. I love everything about them - from the tiny little fingers and tiny little toes, to the celebration and promise of a new life in this crazy world.
As a lifestyle photographer, I don't use a studio, but instead I travel to my clients' homes to capture the new baby in the comfort of his/her own surroundings.
My style and approach is natural and organic. I don't try to make babies sleep in unnatural poses or place them awkwardly. I prefer to keep things as simple, comfortable and as unobtrusive as possible.
My primary aim during these sessions is to capture the natural bond and connection between the baby and his/her family. I also aim to capture all the little details that are unique to this stage of the baby's life. Finally, I love to pay special attention to the Mama, who is especially deserving of some tlc at this time.
Below are some highlights from a recent newborn session I did for a couple who were celebrating the birth of their first child.
