I don't often get the chance to do a family session in a Sicilian cornfield! This was such a beautiful session that I had to share it with you ...

I nearly always choose sunset for outdoor family sessions as the light is much softer and more flattering - especially in the UAE where the light is especially harsh outside of this time. Although sunset might seem a bit of an awkward time for young children, I usually find that they cope just fine. Perhaps the novelty of the situation and the excitement of being up later than normal fuels them!

This particular sunset was magical and the cornfield was bathed in what seemed like liquid gold. It really was a photographer's dream...

I'm looking forward to some sunsets like this in Abu Dhabi in the coming weeks!
